Quality and environmental awareness are integral values at Heraeus, characterizing the most important fundamental merits of conducting business. To recognize the requirements and expectations of our customers, and to fulfil them satisfactorily, we incorporate our full know-how into a relationship, based on partnership, to arrive at a viable solution.

In order to ensure the stability of the production processes the quality aspect is planned far in advance during the actual product creation process making use of specifically selected methods such as APQP, FMEA, Six Sigma and CAQ. Internal procedures are correspondingly systemized and continually improved upon. Our aim is to arrive at "Zero Defects" in the out-of-the box quality during the entire life span of the product.

Our managerial staff actively promote the concept of quality and make a responsible contribution towards the achievement of quality targets. At Heraeus quality consciousness is part of the daily work ethic. Our employees are encouraged and supported through regular attendances at carefully chosen educational and advanced training courses.

Having gained certification in line with ISO/TS 16949, DIN EN ISO 9001 and been awarded the Environmental Management Certificate according to ISO EN 14001 the Business Unit Packaging Technology has already demonstrated its high standard in quality proficiency.
